About UsThe mission of the Lithuanian American Business Council is to facilitate and promote trade and investment between the United States (particularly New York and adjacent states) and Lithuania, to provide a forum for business networking and information exchange between the American and Lithuanian business communities. The Council seeks to achieve its objectives through support of networking events, business conferences, trade missions and other events where representatives of business and government may participate. The Council also supports cooperation in the field of science, particularly the one leading to business applications. The Council works in close contact with the Consulate General of Lithuania in New York. Membership in the Council is open to individual and corporate members willing to contribute to the promotion of Lithuanian-American business links. The Council relies on the business experience of its members and thus serves as source of advice and expertise for Lithuanian businesses willing to enter the US market and for American businesses willing to invest in Lithuania. Lithuanian American Business Council was established in New York on December 20, 2005, by a group of members of the Lithuanian community and the Consulate General of Lithuania in New York. The Council is a non-for-profit, non-governmental membership organization.
